County music singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett turns 55 today. Lovett is probably most known as the former husband of Julia Roberts. Lovett has been recording since the mid 1980’s and has released 11 studio albums but he’s been kind of slow in releasing albums this century, he’s released 4 in the past dozen years or so. Lovett has never been a big singles artist. His early albums especially were excellent. I’ve seen him a few times in concert and he never disappoints.

managed to see him and julia roberts in a bar/restaurant when they were married. looked like they were having a good time. i tend to leave people alone when they are minding their own business.
Never A Julia Roberts fan … I remember when they got married everyone was saying..why did she marry him… I always thought it was the other way around.. never saw anything special about her..just saying
