The great Robert Caro who has spent over 30 years now writing about Lyndon Johnson turns 77 today. So far Caro has 4 outstanding books written on LBJ with one more to go. Caro has won two Pulitzer Prizes in Biography, the National Book Award and countless other honors. His first book was just as outstanding as his LBJ books “The Power Broker” about Robert Moses, New York City’s master planner.

Caro picked fascinating subjects to write about. Caro says his books aren’t biographies but studies on power and how it is used. His last work on LBJ is to take a couple more years. I can’t wait to read it.
