rhut rho. something went um right with the picks last week as we have rebounded to have our best week yet at 5-1. of course we probably need to thank jim harbaugh for taking points off the board to ensure that seattle covered.
we were saved by the ‘hook’ twice this last week – so you can see how fickle and how close these things are. without the half point the seattle/san fran game is a push as is the total for the was/nyg game, but thanks to the hook we garner two wins. this may be the only time in life that i praise the hook. record stands now at 15-21-1. a couple of more weeks of this and we might be able to mix in sirloin and baked potato instead of our ramen. onto the picks.

staying with the thursday night bonus

MIN (-5) vs tbb – i dont care for this game at the outset, but the thursday night games have been some weird ones so we will lay the points.

min/tbb under 43 – going for the double here. nfc matchups have been favoring the under, will try it with this one.

nep -7 vs STL – i think that the rams are a sneaky decent defensive team, i would really prefer this at less than the 7, but here we are.

jax/GB over 45 – the packers are better than 2td favorites. aaron rodgers should have a great day (and i hope so for my fantasy football teams sake) any points by the jags here are just a bonus.

miami +2 at NYJ – the jets played a good game last week with the pats. miami should have won the previous meeting and coming off a bye, i like the dolphins here.

was/PIT over 47.5 – hopefully both teams show up and make this a great score fest.

nyg -2 at DAL – this game will be entertaining, and the giants are the better team. i expect this line to move with a lot of money coming in on the cowboys.

i normally would say fade my picks and i will go on and say do that, one crazy week does not undo the previous 6 weeks.
