Wayne Rooney the superstar striker for Manchester United turns 27 today.  Although only 27 Rooney has been playing in Premier League since 2002 when he broke into the league at age 16 with Everton. After a couple years in Everton he has been with Manchester United since 2004. He has scored a total of 146 goals in the Premier League. For the England National Team he has scored 32 goals in 78 games. He is the third highest paid football player in the world behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
