On this day in 2001 Apple announces the IPOD. The IPOD was developed in less than a year. Over 300,000,000 IPODS have been sold in the last 11 years. I bought my first IPOD back in 2005. With all the music I have I have always had IPOD Classics which store the most music. Last time I checked I had nearly 26,000 songs on my IPOD. What a great invention.

I never have owned an Ipod of any sort but I know some friends who bought one, it was all the rage back then.
I remember when the Walkman came out in the early 1980’s. I thought there is no way they will ever be able to improve on this. They did.
I wasn’t alive at that time, so can’t relate on that one. lol
