1990 World Series- Cincinnati Sweeps Oakland In 4 Games. This Day 1990

On this day in 1990 the Cincinnati Reds completed their sweep of the Oakland A’s in the 199o World Series. The A’s went into the World Series heavily favored. I remember some wisenheimers were predicting that they A’s would win in 3. The key to that Reds team was the greatest bullpen in the history of world civilization. Rob Dibble, Norm Charlton and Randy Myers aka The Nasty Boys. All the Reds starters had to do was get 6 innings in and that bullpen was lights out.
