Lee Harvey Oswald was born on this day in 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana. There is no question in my mind that he was the assassin of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, 1963. He was a less than nothing who thought he was something and couldn’t understand why no one else saw his greatness. The twisted little geek who changed history. I am not a big JFK worshiper but I think the assassination of JFK was one of those moments where things have been rolling downhill in America since that moment. The 49th anniversary of the assassination will be coming up in a month. I will write more on this topic then. Oswald was killed two days after he killed JFK by Jack Rubinstein. I have no memory of all this, I was about to turn 3 years old. Those who were old enough to remember…remember.
“Oswald was killed two days after he killed JFK by Jack Rubinstein [sic].”
– Technically, Oswald was not killed by Jack Rubenstein. Oswald’s killer was born and named “Jacob Leon Rubenstein.” However, in 1947 he legally changed his name to “Jack Leon Ruby.”
This is why Ruby’s conviction/trial is listed at “Ruby v. Texas” (Texas Court of Criminal Appeals) and NOT Rubenstein v. Texas.
Thanks for the correction.
