A great article about the wacky 1960 World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Yankees. The Pirates won the World Series on Bill Mazeroski’s game winning home run in the bottom of the 9th inning of Game 7… 52 years ago today. This is one game I wish I had been around to have seen. It did come out on DVD a couple years ago and I’ve enjoyed watching it.  Every year fans gather at the wall where the ball went over Yankee left fielder Yogi Berra’s head and listen to a replay of the game.
