NFL Great Jerry Rice Turns 50 Today

The great Jerry Rice turns 50 today. A few years ago when nfl.com did their 100 greatest players of all times list they had Jerry Rice as #1. A good case could be made for that but I would have to go with Jim Brown as the greatest player ever. Kind of hard to compare football players at different positions but I think while at some positions you could have a great debate about who was the GOAT- at running back it is clearly JimBrown and at wide reciever the choice is easy- Jerry Rice.

Jerry Rice was All-Pro 13 seasons. His greatest seasons were with the San Francisco 49ers 1985-2000. He didn’t know when to quit and the last 5ive years he played with the Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. He ended up with 1549 pass receptions and 208 touchdowns.
