On this day in 1910 former POTUS Theodore Roosevelt, always the adventurer became the first POTUS to fly in an airplane. He was at Kinloch Field in St. Louis, Missouri and he flew with pilot Arch Hoxsey in a plane that was built by the Wright Brothers.
