In 2003 I was able to go to England and tour Beatle sites in London and then in Liverpool. Strawberry Field was a Salvation Army children’s home where John Lennon remembered playing when he was a child. It’s amazing. When I went to Liverpool I was thinking it had to be some magical place to have inspired such great songs. I loved Liverpool, it was great seeing The Beatle sites…but I the magic was inside their heads.

I went by Abbey Road and also felt a bit let down.
I enjoyed going to all those places -in London and Liverpool..but there was no magic there…the beatles provided the magic..
I hope I can go soon, I’d really love to visit Liverpool and all the Beatles sites..I was planning to go for the “Love Me Do” Anniversary but I couldn’t make it 😦
