270towin.com has now done what I did weeks ago, giving Michigan and Pennsylvania to POTUS Obama. Looking at the map I think it is quite simple what each candidate needs to do to win. For Mitt Romney to win he needs to win 4 up for grab states- Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. That would leave him 4 electoral votes short of 270. There would then be 5 remaining states on the board and all Romney would have to do is win one of the 5ive to be elected. I think if Romney wins the four big states, he will no doubt pick up one of those other 5- Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin or New Hampshire. If Romney loses one of the big 4- it is going to be difficult for him. For Obama then- pick off one of those 4 states and his chances are pretty good.
The key going down the stretch may be the next debate. Obama was awful the other night. Another performance like that and he’s going to be in trouble.

Obama is a decent, intelligent, realistic man. His debate stunk, hopefully he can rally and knock some sense into voters.Romney makes me very nervous.
