Soviet hockey great Boris Mikhailov turns 68 today. Mikhailov starred on the top Soviet line in the 1970’s  along with Valeri Kharlamov and Vladimir Petrov. Before the 1980 Winter Olympics the coach of Team USA Herb Brooks, trying to bring the great Soviet team down to size would make fun of the great Mikhailov saying he looked like Stan Laurel of Laurel and Hardy. He did look like Stan Laurel.
