Former NFL head coach Tony Dungy who coached the Tampa Bay Bucs and who won a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts turns 57 today.
I remember Dungy when he played with the Steelers. Even at the age of 22 he was being talked about as a future coach. He had been a quarterback in college but switched to defensive back in the NFL. He started coaching at age 25 with the Steelers.
Dungy’s record in the NFL as a head coach 139-69. He retired at the end of the 2008 season. I do not see him coming back. As outstanding a coach as Tony Dungy was, he is an even better man.
