Steve Miller who had a slew of hits back in the 1970’s with The Steve Miller Band turns 69 today. He had 3 songs reach #1 in the U.S. “The Joker” “Rock n Me” and “Abracadabra” He had a total of 9 top 40 hits. Those songs are still found and overplayed to death on classic rock radio. Those songs are also the basic of his concert tours which are still extremely popular. People like the old music they grew up with.
