Curt Schilling Might Have To Sell Bloody Sock To Cover Millions In Loans

Curt Schilling was an outstanding major league pitcher. Like a lot of athletes he thought being able to excel in sports meant he could make millions of dollars in other ways. He was one of the athletes featured the other night in the ESPN 30 for 30 “Broke”

  1. the loans from the state to help fund his gaming venture never made sense to me. i understand wanting to attract business, but lets try for one where everyone knows whats happening.

    • In watching that ESPN 30/30… I don’t understand how these athletes think being able to perform on the playing field- makes you a genius in other ways. I recall when I was younger, a pitcher Woody Fryman, had a farm in Kentucky. He lived on what he earned on his farm and banked his baseball salary. Why aren’t these guys today smart like that?
