Mets pitcher R.A. Dickey beat the Pittsburgh Pirates today to become the first knuckleball pitcher to win 20 games in a season since Joe Niekro in 1980. A knuckleball pitcher has never won the Cy Young Award. R.A. Dickey has a decent shot at it this year. I know he would have my vote.
