Meat Loaf’s 65 today. From “Bat Out Of Hell” – “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” When I think of this song I remember the local FM station that ran “American Top 40”- this song peaked at #39. On its brief stay on the charts my local station-when playing ole Casey Kasam- edited out “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” The countdown went from 40 to 38… Weird I thought. I got my hands on a copy of Billboard Magazine a few days later and saw this was at #39. Meat Loaf must have been pushing the envelope a little too hard on this one.

I loved this album.
I only own one Meat Loaf..I got this one in 1978.. I have to agree this is a great album.. don’t care for his other work though…but this was a good one.

Woo Hoo for Meatloaf, Happy Birthday to the singer, NOT the food, hate the dish personally, haha. My favorite Meatloaf song is “Two out of Three Ain’t Bad.” I mean it really takes cahones to tell a lover how you truly feel, I love the cruel honesty of it, I just do…
