John Thomas Ralph Augustine James Facenda aka “The Voice Of God” died September 26th, 1984. He was 71 years old. Facenda was a long time television and radio broadcaster in Philadelphia but gained his fame as the voice over for NFL Films. Bob Costas called Facenda’s voice “one of the most remarkable instruments in the history of broadcasting” John Facenda had a lot to do with the popularity of the the NFL. I think along with the late Steve Sabol and Sam Spence-they should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
agreed that there needs to be a contributors or makers of the game wing. the sabols and facenda need to be there.
The things that change the world, like a voice. : )
His life makes me smile.
How could we remember us all, if every one of us changed the way of things with our remarkable whatever?
Ha ha, the idea that only a few have a subtle remarkable talent.
The silliest myth?
A lot of people have talents..that they never find out they have.. or use.. or they waste great talent..
Should we be sad, or wonder about everyone we see?
Wondering is a blast.
Sad, not so much.
Imagine a heaven, umh I mean world, were every peons worked, is working will work their unique magic. : ) Can I live there, umh here?
I wouldn’t be sad about it. Enough things in this world to be sad over.. Wondering is a blast! Wonder..
Yes, wonder. : D
Yummy slice!
