On this day in 1937 J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” was published to wide critical acclaim. All these years later the book is still highly popular and is considered a classic. With Peter Jackson’s movie version of “The Hobbit” coming out on December 14th I would expect this book will sell more copies in the next year than ever before. I can’t wait to see the movie. My all-time favourite movies are “The Lord of the Rings” movies.

i think i will see ‘lincoln’ and probably ‘skyfall’ i have not been into movies all that much lately. i liked this book and think it should be a good movie as well.
I love the Hobbit and can’t wait to see the movie. I like the Lord of the Ring series too!
