2012 NFC East (not quite as Fearless) Forecast

The defending champions open up with division foe Dallas. I do not think that the Giants were the best team in the NFL last season. They were the best team in the games they played in the playoffs. Once again I do not think that this division is going to set the standard for wins, but as the playoffs wind down the Giants will probably be in the hunt again, 10-6.

The Iggles are a feast or famine team. If Mike Vick and the offense is primed and ready there is not another team that can stay with them. Andy Reid suffered a personal loss this offseason that no father should have to contend with. I hope that the Iggles prove me wrong this year, but I just do not see the talent staying healthy all year, 9-7.

Dallas. I will be straight up here. I respected the Cowboy franchise until Jerry Jones bought the team. It’s one thing to play the heel role if your team is winning. The Cowboys are not winning. The coaching carousel will continue until Jerry Jones decides not to meddle. Well that’s not going to happen, 6-10.

Washington traded a lot to move up and draft Bob Griffin III. I think he will be an exciting player to watch, unfortunately his coach is Mike Shanahan. Shanahan has not won anything of significance since he was coaching some guy named Elway. Amazingly there are two owners in the same division who continue to want the headlines instead of letting the people hired do their jobs. Less amazing is the fact that these two owners do not seem to understand their actions are probably causing most of the issues, 5-11
