Facebook-fakebook-this is not much of a surprise to me

So by the numbers likely 80+ million accounts are fake – from ‘developing markets’. Yeah sounds like my buddy’s girlfriend who is ‘from canada’ so I cannot meet her. I am happy to say that I do not have a facebook account, and likely never will. I have no angst or animosity toward the facebook founders. In fact I would congratulate them on being able to sell, what is in my opinion, the 21st century version of snake oil.

What I would like to know is why is the stock market with antics and things of this nature legal,, yet I cannot legally place a bet on a sporting event in most of the US.

College Football Coaches Poll

The coaches poll is now out. The top 10 has 5 SEC teams which is not a surprise. LSU, Bama, USC, OU and Oregon start out as the top 5. LSU/Bama will end up with one loss as they play one another at LSU 3 November. Night game in Baton Rouge if the teams are still 1 and 2 will be must see tv.

At this stage all of this is nothing but pure conjecture. Injuries, attrition, and general idiocy by players and coaches have yet to take place. College football less than 4 weeks away.

Conference previews and predictions will be forthcoming after the Olympics.
