Actor Robert De Niro turns 69 today. He is one of my two favourite actors [the other being James Stewart} De Niro has been nominated for six Academy Awards winning two the first for best supporting actor in “Godfather II “and for best actor for “Raging Bull.”

My favourite Robert De Niro movie is his playing Travis Bickle in “Taxi Driver,” runner-up being “The King of Comedy” My Baker’s Dozen Robert De Niro must see films in chronological order- Bang The Drum Slowly, Mean Streets, The Godfather II, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, True Confessions, The King of Comedy, Once Upon A Time In America, Midnight Run, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, and A Bronx Tale [ I am not that big a fan of his recent work}
