I never thought I would write the words David Crosby is 71 today. He’s one of those rock musicians who you never thought would see 40 let along 71. {Keith Richards is another and in country music George Jones is 80? How did that happen?} Crosby is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Byrd’s and as a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Over the years he battled health problems[he had a liver transplant paid for by Phil Collins} was a heavy drug abuser, spend time in prison on drugs and weapons charges. Somehow though it all he lives. His most famous song is probably “Long Time Coming” with CSN.

Watching Neil Young age is the one thing that makes me feel old. I’ve thought long and hard about this, not just Neil Young but so many from a time when music was the voice you listened to. A time before internet, blogs, forums, Fox News, and CNN. A time when people were willing to stand up and fight for what they believed in, not simply what they were told.
this is very true..the times were better then…and less was more..
