Angels Sensational Rookie Mike Trout-21 Today

The Los Angeles Angels sensational rookie star Mike Trout turns 21 today. He appears to be on the way to being Rookie of the Year and the Most Valuable Player. He wasn’t called up until late April this year. He has 19 home runs, 59 RBI, he is leading the league with a .348 battling average. He has stole 36 bases and only been caught 3 times. In 87 games he has scored 86 runs. Only one player-Rickey Henderson has done that in a season since XX Jim Foxx in the 1930’s- that is averaging one run scored a game in an entire season. His on base percentage is .411. He has been compared to Mickey Mantle.

The thing that I like about Mike Trout best is- I have him on my Rotisserie  League team {the Hoopleheads} and the way the league is set up I will be able to afford to keep him on my team until the end of the decade!!! I hope he is the next Mickey Mantle and not the next Freddie Lynn. Take care of yourself Mike Trout the Hooplehead ownership is counting on you to lead us to a few championships!
