Judge Lance Ito who had his 15 minutes of fame back in the mid -1990’s as the Judge in the infamous O.J. Simpson trial, turns 62 today. Judge Ito is still a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. I give him credit for not cashing in on his fame 15 years ago.

this was one of the few bright spots in that trial. and you are correct i think that he did not use his fame to cash in after this – i think he wrote a book, but i am not recalling.
you took the words out of my mouth..i was about to say at the end that he seemed to be one of the few who had any sense in the trial…. i don’t know about him writing a book.. would be kind of a conflict of interest if he wrote about the trial while a judge..
is he still on the bench? i thought he had retired – and i agree it would be a conflict if there was an r behind his name. wait did i say that?
had to go look – no he has not retired and has not published a book. many others have published books about him and the trial etc.
did not know he was the judge for the keating trial as well.
