MTV came on the air at midnight August 1st- the first song ever “Video Killed The Radio Star” by The Buggles. MTV was fine until the late 1980’s when they slowly started to change their station from all videos all the time to putting their shows on. Also when they started to replace the Original VJ’s the gig was up. I know I was hearbroken when Martha Quinn left. The station has long gone into the toilet. I can’t believe the garbage they put on there. Do they have no shame?
