It was 36 years ago today, I was only 14 but I remember two things that happened today. I was at the Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio and I was on the beach there and got the worst sunburn I’ve ever had in my life. Second thing is I remember hearing Jimmy Hoffa had disappeared. No one will probably ever know what was done with him. He was last seen in the parking lot of the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan at about 2:30pm. He has never been seen or heard from again. Was he killed and buried in the end zone at the old Meadowlands Stadium outside of NYC? Was he buried under a highway? Was he made into hamburger? Was he buried in the foundations of the Renaissance Center in Detroit? Whatever happened to him, I think we can assume he was killed. I doubt anyone outside of his family mourned his departure. He wasn’t a good man. He was sixty-two years old. It’s probably a miracle he lived that long. James Riddle Hoffa he sleeps with the fishes.

i think its interesting that so many people had motives to get rid of hoffa. who do you think had more people after them, jfk or hoffa?

I think both JFK and Hoffa were killed by the mob. The mob helped get Kennedy elected and then his bro Bobby started investigating them. Not good. Then Hoffa threatened to clean up the Teamsters and inform the FBI of mob activities so the mob whacked him as well. Jimmy Hoffa had his share of ‘issues’ but I believe he was a great man. Bobby Kennedy was a great man, too. JFK…not so much.
