Above is the television schedule for the Olympics today. I am looking forward to the swimming events today. I am much more into the individual sports than the team sports. I know there is a lot of hype for the USA Basketball Team-but that puts me to sleep. To me the spirit of the Olympics isn’t Kobe Bryant and company. My favorite events are the track and field events which will start next week. I will be into the swimming this week. Funny, no one gives a hoot about swimming but for one week every four years when it comes to the forefront. With all the TV channels there should be something for everyone whatever you are into.
I thought the Opening Ceremony was well done. Did it match China’s in 2008- of course not but I think it is unfair to compare the two. I always like when the athletes march into the stadium and they light the flame the best. I can’t believe they got Queen Elizabeth to skydive! Way to go James Bond!

agree with your thoughts that the olympics is not the pro players from any country. its hard to say that people are the best however when everyone knows the best did not show up.
how much does it really mean to a kobe bryant? the dream team stuff bores me to death.. now the only team competiton that i think is great is hockey in the winter olympics… but i am watching women’s volleyball right now..and enjoying it…..
