On this day in 1903 the first Ford Model A is delivered to its owner, Dr. Ernest Pfenning of Chicago, Illinois. The car cost $850 and was able to reach a speed of 30 miles per hour. 1750 Model A’s were made from 1903-1904. The Model A would be replaced by the Model C. The designer was Henry Ford.
