We started Day 12 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and headed east across New Mexico, across the panhandle of Texas and into Oklahoma. There were two days on the trip where we did nothing but drive and this was one of them. I took no pictures the entire day.  It was a Friday- Mrs. Postcard wanted to be back home by Sunday evening [she had to go back to work on Tuesday} but our plans changed that evening when she said “I don’t want to go home It fine if we get back on Monday” We were in the Oklahoma City area- so we made a change of plans with that extra day- we would get to go down to Dallas afterall and make a visit to the site of the Kennedy Assassination on Saturday and stop in Memphis on Sunday before heading home on Monday. The end of the vacation was near….but we weren’t there  yet!
