Baseball Hall of Fame Pyramid- Pitchers

All the position players are done- now on to the pitchers. There are so many pitchers. This was the most difficult to do. Walter Johnson -the “Big Train” was the greatest pitcher in baseball history. Is it just me or does Robin Williams look a little like Johnson?

After the pitchers i will work on a ‘Contributors” wing of the Hall of Fame- managers/owners/ and those who made great contributions to the game of baseball..

  1. good list. this had to have been the most difficult to do. i might have put clemens in the level 5 – his numbers are similar to maddux, but the jerk factor could lose him some points.
i probably would have put hubbell in the level 5. but i can see him at level 4.
i might move eckersley up a level – because he was a good starter then became an unbelievable reliever.

solid list there. great work on all of the baseball hof things.

    • Clemens was docked 1 level like Bonds was due to steroid use. I would have said 5 years ago that Clemens was the best pitcher I’ve ever seen and that Bonds was the best player..but I can’t say that-knowing that they didn’t do it like the others did… Where to put Eck was a tough one.. I am going to have to go through the lists and see how many are at each level… i placed 4 negro league players at level 5- Gibson/Pop Lloyd/ Oscar Charleston and Satchel.. everything I’ve ever read–makes me believe if they had played in the majors..they would have been level 5….
