the media has been virtually silent on this story – with the sole exception of Dan Kane. Yes this is a politically incorrect problem, but it makes me wonder a couple of things. If UNC were any good at football would there be more fervor in getting to the bottom of this situation? Or if this were concerning the basketball program would this be different?

Lots of circumstantial evidence here – but i think the telling thing is that this professor did this for no pay. I am not buying that for one minute. He may not have drawn a check from the university, but some booster(s) have been paying this professor in some shape or form, in my opinion.

i have seen the gestapo of the ncaa get all over universities for a breakfast, or a borrowed car, yet why they have not absolutely ripped UNC a new one here is beyond me.
