After Mammoth Springs we started our way out of Yellowstone. One day at Yellowstone isn’t enough but that was all the time we had. We had other places we wanted to see and a week to cover all that ground. We spent 12 hours at Yellowstone and did see a lot in one day. We would drive an hour out of Yellowstone and spend the night in nearby Idaho. Our next destination was the Grand Canyon which was a long drive away.

On Day 8 of the trip-we would drive from northern Idaho clear down to southern Utah ending the day in St.George, Utah. A good jumping off point to the Grand Canyon. The plan being to see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on Tuesday and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on wednesday.
