None is this is surprising to me about Paterno.

  1. i will think that dying when he did was probably the best thing that could have happened to paterno. dying gets some sympathy, and he cannot be questioned or give account for his actions as to dig a deeper hole

    • dead men tell no tales. i haven’t heard any news source say this-maybe someone has. Maybe it’s just leave it alone but i have a hard time with the timing of that announcement back in nov. that joe pa had cancer.. my belief is he knew he had it for months but kept coaching…then the sandusky deal came about and a week later he has lung cancer…no doubt HE DID have cancer..but i would be willing to bet he knew it in august.
