Larry Joe Bird- aka Larry Legend.. aka The Hick From French Lick.. is to quit as Pre sident of the Indiana Pacers. Bird is the only person to be the MVP of the league [3 times} Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year. I used to like the NBA- back in the 70’s and 80’s.  Larry Bird was my favorite player.  I have a hard time watching any NBA today. It’s not like it was with Larry, Magic and Jordan.
