This was out of the USA Today a few days ago. I don’t find it all that bit of a surprise.

“There are more registered voters in Boone and Lincoln counties than adult residents. Boone County  election officials mailed 9100 cards to voters who haven’t recently  cast ballots or may have moved. Records show that Boone County had 19096 registered voters in 2010 compared with 19004 residents 18 or older. Lincoln County had 19595 registered voters compared with 16790 adult residents.  Southern West Virginia has always been notorious for voter fraud. Kind of like Chicago they let the departed vote also. I just finished the second Robert Caro book on LBJ- if it wasn’t for the dead voting in southern Texas in 1948- Coke Stevenson would have beaten LBJ and we would never have had a President Johnson…or maybe a Vietnam War. LBJ won that election by 87 votes. Landslide Lyndon.
