Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist and vocalist  [before they got HUGE in the mid 70’s} Bob Welch [not to be confused with the former Dodgers pitcher} found dead in Nashville this afternoon. Suicide. After Fleetwood Mac he had a briefly successful career as a solo artist- his biggest hit was “Sentimental Lady” which climbed to #8 on the charts. “Ebony Eyes” reached #14, “Precious Love #19.. all in the late 70’s. His father had been a movie and tv producer, his mother was a singer and an actress.

Police say Welch, who has had health issues of late-left a suicide note.
