The Beatles Song Of The Day is “She Said She Said.” “She Said She Said” is on The Beatles “Revolver” album. The song was written by John Lennon after an acid trip in Los Angeles. The Beatles were hanging out with The Byrds and some girls and Peter Fonda came up to John and whispered “I know what it’s like to be dead.” He had been describing an acid trip he had been on. This was the last track that was recorded for the “Revolver” album. John needed something to finish off the album, Paul’s songwriting was peaking at this point. “Revolver” is in my opinion The Beatles masterpiece and Paul has more great songs on this album than Paul, a first. John Lennon: vocal, rhythm guitar and Hammond organ/ Paul McCartney: bass guitar/ George Harrison: backing vocal and lead guitar/ Ringo Starr: drums and shaker. The song was recorded on June 21st, 1966 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.
