The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Here, There And Everywhere.’ “Here, There And Everywhere” is on The Beatles “Revolver” album. The song was written by Paul McCartney. Paul wrote this song while at John’s pool one day. John would say of the song “This was a great one of his” and would add “One of my favourite songs of The Beatles.” I agree, this is a brilliant and beautiful song. Things at the time were looking up in Paul’s relationship with actress Jane Asher and that inspired his finest love song. Paul was influenced by The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” album and the song “God Only Knows.” When he was writting the song he was imagining the voice of Marianne Faithful singing it. This song took 3 days to record. Paul himself would call this his favourite of his songs with “Yesterday” being a close second. John Lennon: backing vocal and finger-snaps/ Paul McCartney: double-tracked vocal, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and finger-snaps/ George Harrison: backing vocal, lead guitar and finger-snaps/ Ringo Starr: drums and finger-snaps. The song was recorded on June 14th, 16th and 17th,1966 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.
