UNDER THE COVERS: OTHER ARTISTS COVERING BEATLES SONGS: STEREOPHONICS WITH JOOLS HOLLAND R&B ORCHESTRA

Under The Covers; Other Artists Covering Beatles Songs: ‘ Revolution’- Stereophonics with Jools Holland R&B Orchestra. The b-side to the huge #1 hit “Hey Jude’- John Lennon’s ‘Revolution’- could have been a #1 hit on its own. What a great single. This is the rocking version of the song- on The White Album there would be a slower version of the song.

  1. I think some stations treated “Hey Jude”/”Revolution” as a double A sided single. I think that was the way the Chicago stations did it. Frankly, I like the rockin’ “Revolution” better than the acoustic version on the white album, and like either one better than “Hey Jude.”
