Van Morrison has never been a singles artist – he’s only had 5 Top 40 hits and his last Top 40 hit was “Wild Night” in the fall of 1971. His biggest hit on the charts is “Domino” #9 in 1970. His most known song by the masses “Brown Eyed Girl” #10 in 1969. “Blue Money” was a big favorite in New York City and Boston- Van commented at the time -“Out here I get asked to play ‘Blue Money’ all the time. All the kids love it, the kids in the street. It’s their favorite number.”
