Free was a rock band from England. Paul Rodgers the singer would go on to even more success later with Bad Company. Here is my Bad Company story- back in the day when I was a young Hans I was dating this girl who out of the blue one day asked me “Who does that Jetson’s song?”- I thought for a moment before saying “The Jetson’s song” She said yes it goes “Here Comes The Jetson’s one -two -three”…. that relationship wasn’t meant to last very long. Anyway- Free had 2 Hot 100 singles- “All Right Now” the only one to make the Top 40.
Funny story, Hans. The song is great but never knew who sang it. It does have a Bad Company sound to it!
Every since you told me that story…I told our singer and when we last played Rock and Roll Fantasy he sang those words lol.
LOL!
I have heard this song countless times over the years and it is still good. Good music stands the test of time.
I didn’t know Paul Rodgers sang this. Did you hear any of his work with The Firm?
I am cursed now by your story. Good story but, now, like “there’s a bathroom on the right”, I will forever hear “hear come the jetsons…” *facepalm*
she ruined that song for me- every time i hear it i think of her…lol
I misspelled “here.” 🙄😖
Yup!
