30 Day Song Challenge: Day 19: “A Song To Drive To”- “Jessica”- The Allman Brothers. Since I was a little Han’s and going on trips with my grandparents all over the country I have loved to travel. So mixing travel with music is a natural for me. The Allman Brothers made great songs to drive to- I thought of selecting “Ramblin’ Man” but decided to go with a great instrumental- maybe my favorite rock instrumental- also by The Allman Brothers- “Jessica” as my choice. When I hear “Jessica” I first think of one of my favorite baseball movies “Field Of Dreams”-where it is featured.”Jessica” was written by Dicky Betts and he named the instrumental after his daughter. I could listen to this song endlessly.
