30 Day Song Challenge: Day 11: “A Song That Reminds You Of Summer”- “California Gurls”- Katy Perry {FT. Snoop Dogg} . I wasn’t in the mood to overthink this one- so I went with the first song which came to mind. In the summer of 2010 even though I was not at the time a listener of pop or Top 40 radio there was no way to avoid this song. “American Gurls” seemed to be playing everywhere. I hate to admit it but I do like the song.
Wow, Hans, this would definitely qualify as one of your guilty pleasures! I do like several of Katy Perry’s songs (especially Hot’n’Cold, Teenage Dream, The One That Got Away, Firework and Roar).
I must say that as far as I know that is the only song of her’s that I know- but I am sure i have probably heard other ones. Going to spend some time listening to her hits- just for kicks.
