This has been called “The Greatest Game Ever Played” It was the first ever sudden death overtime game in NFL history. This game has always been pointed to as the turning point in NFL history, bringing on a surge in popularity. The league has never been the same since. The Baltimore Colts won the game in sudden death when Alan Ameche scored on a one yard run. 23-17 Colts won. Johnny Unitas came of age in this game he threw for 349 yards and a touchdown [this was not the NFL of today when they throw all the time} Raymond Berry, the main target for Unitas had 12 catches for 187 yards and a touchdown.

ESPN has shown this game in recent years. I image that program is on DVD. It was a great and exciting game.
